Darrell Arthur had 12 points in the first half off 6-of-10 shooting and Darnell Jackson had seven points off 3-of-4 shooting as KU opened a 37-23 lead at the half. Jackson finished with 17 off 6-of-8 shooting and Arthur 15 off 7-of-12.

It’s always good to see the boys putting a hurtin’ on these teams early in the season. I think that the game at USC last weekend showed them that the big men have to be a part of the offense if they want to have a chance this year. It’s looking good so far.
