Is This Getting Old Yet?

The First Snow…
Needless to say he was in heaven. Trying to catch the snow in his mouth is by far the most amusing thing. This is what happens when you let him play outside by himself. Funny…he doesn’t like it when you clean him up before he comes inside…

Why?
Why does a band say they’ll be in promptly at 8:00 and then they…aren’t?

Where’s The Excitement?
So I set out to do my civic duty today and vote. Everyone kept saying I should just vote early, but honestly what’s the fun in that? I always hear about long lines and a little ‘pomp and circumstance’ when it comes to voting and I don’t want to cheat myself out of that.
Another exciting thing about voting for me is that it’s the bi-annual trip to my old high school. (That’s right, I’m still registered at my parents address…sue me). It’s fun to see your old school and witness how much it has changed since you were there. Sadly though, this year they moved the polling place to the Salvation Army down the street. This is the site of countless ‘biddy-ball’ basketball games that I played when I was little so it would have it’s own sense of going down Memory Lane. I could go back to the site of my childhood brilliance on the basketball court.
As I drove up to my polling place, I have to say I was very disheartened. There was no line. There was no news helicopter circling high overhead reporting on the crazy ‘Election Day’ crowds. There was no exit polling going on…nothing. Once again I am bamboozled by the media. You know how long it took me to vote? About 4 minutes. That quick and it was all over. At least I did my duty.
