Apparently a local judge has found it in his heart to delay the Metro Kansas City smoking ban. They’re using the same argument they have the whole time which revolves around the fact that it is unconstitutional to allow smoking on casino floors but to ban it in other establishments. They say it puts their businesses at a disadvantage.

It doesn’t really matter. The voters wanted the smoking ban, and it shall be…….eventually. We just have to wait two weeks longer….

In my head I figured it would be a nice relaxing Friday afternoon at the race track. Watch some drag races, eat a funnel cake, and have a grand old time. It turns out that you end up walking about 4 miles to do that. Pretty crazy right? I’ll post my pics later but I had to put this up first…

We were only there for qualifying but it was great seeing John Force win again and Hillary Will get her first national event win.

With all the Lost spoilers out there and people trying to guess and speculate on the end of the finale, the production crew created two alternate endings in case they had to change it at the last minute.

Just got finished watching the Lost Season 4 Finale. Wow…that was a marathon episode. How about Ben looking about as creepy as ever at the end there. I can’t wait to see the flashbacks next season of Locke, or Jeremy Bentham, visiting all of the Oceanic 6 back in the real world. I bet they were a little surprised to see him don’t you think?

So Locke basically has figured out how to travel off the island just like Ben did…and now Locke knows what has to happen on the island which is why he wants everyone back…

And did Michael survive or was Christian (Jacob) there to tell him that he’d done his part and he would be dying in the blast? Wow…

So I have placed my votes for the Urban Photo Safari this year and with 61 contestants…it took a long time to get to 10 favorites. I don’t think I have a winner in my bunch this year but who knows right?

So tomorrow is the annual Urban Photo Safari. This year it will take place in downtown KC again after last year’s trip to Lawrence. It’s also taking place much earlier this year so that will make the weather situation much more tolerable than usual.

I do have to say that I am feeling a little bit of stress this year. After all I am the two time reigning champion…

Why don’t I just go to sleep? I mean I’m not going to miss anything if I go to bed right? I think it’s just that going to bed means getting back up and going to work…how sad…

When you walk into a conference room where 5 people are quietly working, is it really necessary that your BlackBerry not be put on silent? I mean it’s one thing when you get an email every few minutes…but when you’re running MSN Instant Messenger on that BlackBerry…that ‘bee-dunk’ tone from every message you receive can get QUITE annoying. MUTE THE THING BITCH!!!

You know, I understand that being a lackey at work is basically a given early on. It’s just a little frustrating when superiors ignore your guidance on a certain situation and then complain to you about it afterwards when they don’t follow your guidance. Then, they ask you to fix the situation afterwards.

I know, it’s a typical sitcom plot. It’s still not any easier when it actually happens on a regular basis.
